We have reached the fifth edition! It seems incredible that the first, in 2021, saw us reunited virtually due to the pandemic. Today, however, Our initiative continues to grow, involving more and more shiatsu professionals in Europe and around the world, joining the ESF (European Shiatsu Federation) Shiatsu Month.

Also this year we are proposing the theme “Shiatsu as an instrument of peace”, alongside our official hashtag #internationalshiatsuday the hashtag #manidipace (handsofpeace). Participation is as always free and each operator and association can organize the initiative in the way they prefer. However, To promote the growth and visibility of the event, we suggest following some simple instructions:

  1. Publish photos, videos and other material of your initiative using the hashtag #internationalshiatsuday (and, if you wish, #handsofpeace and other hashtags you find relevant).
  2. Download the official logo of the initiative from here and use it in your promotional material (alternatively, you can use the page Add ISD watermark to apply the logo to any image you want).
  3. Send your association's logo via the page Submit your logo to be included in the section of the site dedicated to participants.
  4. If you wish, send photographic material of your initiative via the page Send picture material to enrich the site and social media with different experiences.

Thank you all for participating!

The International Shiatsu Day logo features a blue circle with a brushstroke-like outer ring and a lighter blue inner circle. Inside the lighter circle, the words "International Shiatsu Day" are written in a dark grey serif font. Below "International Shiatsu Day", the letters "ISD" are clearly visible in a large, white, sans serif font.
