ISD sixth edition

We are excited to announce the sixth edition of International Shiatsu Day, which will take place on Sunday, 14th June 2026! Year after year, our initiative continues to expand, bringing together professionals, schools, and enthusiasts in Europe and around the world, and consolidating its presence within the ESF (European Shiatsu Federation) Shiatsu Month.

Also this year we are proposing the theme “Shiatsu as an instrument of peace”, alongside our official hashtag #internationalshiatsuday the hashtag #manidipace (handsofpeace). Participation is as always free and each operator and association can organize the initiative in the way they prefer. However, To promote the growth and visibility of the event, we suggest following some simple instructions:

• Publish photos, videos and other material of your initiative using the hashtag #internationalshiatsuday (and, if you wish, #handsofpeace and other hashtags you find relevant).
• Download the official logo of the initiative from here and use it in your promotional material (alternatively, you can use the page Add ISD watermark to apply the logo to any image you want).
• Send your association's logo via the page Submit your logo to be included in the section of the site dedicated to participants.
• If you wish, send photographic material of your initiative via the page Send picture material to enrich the site and social media with different experiences.

This year's novelty: The ISD Directory

To accompany the 2026 edition, we are pleased to present a major innovation: the ISD Directory. This page has been created with the aim of connecting associations, schools and practitioners from the local area (and from around the world), to facilitate dialogue and the organisation of the next International Shiatsu Day.

The Directory is a shared space where you can easily find businesses, events, and professionals (Shiatsu practitioners or Associations) that are joining the initiative, creating a true global network.

How to apply to the Directory

Adding your reality or event to our network is simple and open to everyone. To appear in the Official Directory, simply follow these steps:

• Access the official registration form.
• Fill in the required fields with the details of your association, profession, or event that you are organising.
• Submit your request to join the global Shiatsu map.
