On June 9, 2024, The fourth International Shiatsu Day (ISD) has united an international community, promoting awareness of the benefits of the discipline for collective well-being. This anniversary highlights the commitment to valorize Shiatsu, spreading holistic practices.

Central theme of 2024: “Shiatsu as a message of Peace” (#handsofpeace). Each treatment becomes an expression of deep listening, acceptance and dialogue, precious qualities today, embodying the "Art of conscious contact" that overcomes divisions. Shiatsu thus establishes itself as an ethical-social practice as well as a physical one. ISD, born in a pandemic, reaffirms the power of human contact for empathy.

This fourth edition of the ISD has strengthened the message of peace and the benefits of Shiatsu, giving visibility to a profession that helps to regain vitality. The ISD cultivates a culture of listening and contact. The annual meeting, the second Sunday of June, testifies to the vitality of this practice. An invitation to discover Shiatsu and its values.
